Job Description Summary
Responsible for managing an implementation group that works on large scale, complex, enterprise wide initiatives. These initiatives involve technology change, business process redesigns and operating model reviews/ amendments. Management responsibilities include hiring, performance reviews and career development processes.
We are seeking an Implementation Manager to lead the Migration Execution for the Portfolio and Accounting Data Services Program. This involves migrating Clients from legacy applications and onto the new Valuations and Accounting platform, Finbourne. This role is accountable for the successful execution of the migration strategy, largely achieving goals through the work of the team.
Job Description
Major duties include:
- Lead the execution of the Migration Strategies from legacy platforms (GDL, DDL, and Fundmaster) on to Finbourne to support Valuation and Accounting Services
- Managing dry runs of the runbook including reconciliation of transaction history loads and valuations (Data Loads Vs Finbourne)
- Co-ordinate with the agile teams and testing streams to ensure the migration schedule aligns to the capability schedule
- Provide Leadership coverage at the program governance forums; Steerco, Working Group, RAIDD and Planning Meetings
- Ensure adherence to the ECM and SDAM standards and controls
- Actively manage program risks, actions, issues, and dependencies relating to Migration activities, ensuring that items are addressed in a timely manner
- Plan ahead, anticipate and overcome roadblocks or other constraints
- Track and actively manage key dependencies on each migration wave
- Publish metrics on Migration trends and status – volume of client, accounts, products on Finbourne
- Focus on Program Delivery and Quality with a positive, committed and adaptable attitude
- Provides leadership, direction, and support to the Migration team
- Liaise with IT, Change Management and Operational functions to ensure smooth execution
- Work collaboratively and maintain positive relationships with sometimes multi-layered/complex stakeholders
Requirements/Knowledge
The ideal candidate should possess a number of the following qualities or experience:
- Proven experience and leadership in delivering complex, multi year Transformation Program
- Be fully familiar with Agile and Transformation practices with a strong history of delivering change successfully at scale
- Understanding of the Custody Accounting Book of Record
- A familiarity with NT’s existing eco-system supporting this would be highly beneficial (Fundmaster, GFA, GDL, DDL, MR, DB2)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Strong collaboration skills and have a history of building strong relationships across a broad range of stakeholders
- Excellent organizational skills and an ability to prioritize multiple deliverables and work independently with minimal oversight
- A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is preferred.
Eligibility for Internal Partner
