Are you passionate about cutting-edge logic design? As a Logic Design Engineering Undergraduate Intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of Intel's next-generation technologies by integrating and verifying SoC (System on a Chip). The primary responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Integrate a set of functional blocks (IPs-Intelectual Property) into a functional SoC (System on a Chip) and verify the full-chip works according to the specification.
  • Define and implement test mechanisms to ensure quality and correctness at full-chip level.
  • Support verification activities, including debugging and simulation of microarchitectures.
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to problem-solving discussions.
  • Collaborate closely with architecture, verification, and SoC and IIP design teams to ensure seamless integration of design components.
  • Build foundational skills through hands-on project work aligned with Intel's business objectives and goals.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.

  • Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Licenciatura degree program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Active student status required, with at least one year remaining before degree completion.
  • Knowledge and experience obtained through courses, tasks, projects, or work experience in the following areas:
    • Digital design fundamentals and microarchitecture concepts.
    • RTL/logic development using System Verilog.
    • Scripting and programming languages such as Python.
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Intermediate English proficiency (both verbal and written).
  • Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in Costa Rica.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

  • Familiarity with debug methodologies for microarchitecture and simulation.
  • Experience with AI tools for automation of day-to-day work.
  • Effective communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.
