We are seeking a self-sufficient and passionate Takaful Assistant Manager who has to play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of Takaful and in growing the Takaful business of Pru Life UK, the first Takaful operator in the Philippines.
The role involves providing direct support in product ideation and development, marketing, and in developing strategic distribution partnerships to expand access to Shariah-compliant financial protection.
Job Accountabilities
- Support the identification and onboarding of new partners to expand distribution channels.
- Help build long-term relationships with existing partners to maintain retention and growth.
- Assist in negotiating terms, financial schemes and in managing agreements with partners.
- Work with the internal teams to develop Takaful products and marketing campaigns for Takaful.
- Monitor product and partnership performance, produce marketing and sales reports, and generate sales forecasts.
Job Specification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Math, Statistics, Marketing, Islamic Finance, or a related field.
- At least 2 years in product development and marketing, partnership management, business development, or sales, preferably within the insurance sector. Knowledge of and background in Islamic finance preferred. Proven ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills and with the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and analytical, and interpersonal skills.
