    The Role: As a Field Service Engineer with Unity Lab Services, you'll provide technical expertise for Gas Chromatography, HPLC  & Mass spectrometry primarily in the South of the UK, ideally situated in the Surrey or Hampshire regions but adjacent territories would be considered.  Occasional travel throughout UK and Ireland would also be required.
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Deliver exceptional customer service through high-quality installations, repairs, and maintenance
    • Provide technical support for the instrumentation in your field of expertise.
    • Resolve technical issues efficiently while following safety protocols and guidelines
    • Coordinate with team members to optimise work schedules
    • Manage company assets including parts inventory and equipment
    • Submit accurate and timely service and expense reports

Minimum Requirements:

  • Background in Electronics, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, or related fields
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
  • PC proficiency and ability to work with specialised software
  • Valid UK Driving License
  • Availability to travel within territory (Monday-Friday with occasional overnight stays)
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • 1+ year experience operating or servicing analytical equipment or related application support.
  • Knowledge of Gas chromatography, HPLC and Mass spectrometry.
