Job Description

OpCo: Sciex China, Life Science

Business Title: FP&A Manager, SCIEX China Finance

Reports to: Finance Director

Work Location: Shanghai, China

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Partner with Service, Marketing and Supporting Function of Sciex China Commercial Organizations on annual budgeting, periodic forecast, providing in-depth analytics and strong valid comments to Senior Leadership.
  • Lead the monthly Service forecast reporting process to prepare review deck, attend global call and commentary to Senior Leadership.
  • Lead monthly Working Capital forecasting, including DSO and Inventory, work with cross function teams to drive Cash Flow and Inventory efficiency with continuous YoY improvement.
  • Responsible for Revenue Recognition process and Credit Management to ensure high integrity and compliance with established guidelines. Interaction with both Singapore Distribution and China Accounting to maintain controls for Internal Audit and SOX purposes.
  • Own end-to-end consignment/demo process to enhance instrument deployment efficiency, circulation and leverage consignment/demo resources to support business initiative and drive business outcome.
  • Actively participate in cross-functional projects designed to implement automation, including but not limited to monthly close process, expense forecasting/budget for noted functions, to solve business problems.
  • Ad Hoc assignments arranged by Finance Director.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics with minimum 7+ years experience OR relevant Qualifications, such as Certified Public Accountant (“CPA”), etc.
  • Familiarity with US/PRC GAAP and good accounting knowledge as foundation.
  • Ability to work under pressure, fast learner and can-do attitude.
  • Strong business acumen with solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good team player and being able to communicate efficiently with internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in English working language. Experience with financial systems/applications (Excel, Power BI, Oracle, HFM, OneStream or other ERP report building)
  • In-house experience from Reporting, FP&A or BP is preferred.
  • CPA would be a plus
