After 75 years, we continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible. Whether you’re an experienced professional or just starting out, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute, grow, and make a lasting impact on industries that power the world’s most dynamic markets.

Position Summary

The Instructional Designer is a key member of IEM's Talent Development function, responsible for designing, developing, and continuously improving engaging and effective learning experiences that support organizational goals and drive measurable performance outcomes across our operations.

Working in close partnership with subject matter experts (SMEs), Production, Engineering, Quality, and operational leadership, the Instructional Designer translates complex technical and operational content into high-quality learning solutions — including e-learning modules, instructor-led training materials, job aids, assessments, and multimedia content — delivered across online, in-person, and hybrid formats.

The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in instructional design methodology, hands-on experience with modern authoring and multimedia tools, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This individual is a creative problem-solver who is passionate about learner experience, data-driven improvement, and building a world-class TD function at IEM.
