About the Job

Assist in managing and developing the client relationship, including project design, proposal writing, planning and research analysis on projects 

Assist in organising the team  

Plan and execute research projects with some supervision

Job Goals

Development of Client relationships: 

Manage and develop the client relationship, provide the highest level of client service 

Consistently exceed client expectations 

 

Financial management 

Responsible for monitoring project costs and implementing cost effective solutions  

Play a key role in achieving targets for Account GM and profit 

 

Proposal process:  

Use available sources to identify the best possible research solutions for clients  

Create or assist with creation of proposals to meet client need 

Participate in (or lead straight forward) costing processes, prepare draft costs & check quotations 

 

Project management 

Facilitate regular communication with key stakeholders 

Execution of the study in the best and most cost effective way 

Responsible for project scheduling and managing change effectively 

Focus the team on profitable and high quality outputs providing feedback throughout  

Create project related materials 

 

Analysis/reporting:  

Work with team to analyse findings to meet client needs 

Work with team to generate insights and recommendations to meet client needs 

Responsible for timely, accurate and quality deliverables 

Analyse data patterns in detail to understand significance and identify appropriate action (Quality Assurance) 

Assist in presenting findings to clients for smaller projects 

 

Leadership, team and people management: 

Responsible for coaching / on the job training for junior team members 

Proactively responsible for their own learning & development 

Promote team spirit  

 

Communication:  

Clearly and persuasively communicates complex issues, internally and externally 

Deliver internal presentations 

Ideal Skills and Capabilities: 

At least 3 to 7 years' experience in Market Research, either agency or client side  

Knowledge of corporate financials 

Good knowledge of marketing and research  

 

Skills: 

Confident analysis and presentation skills 

Ability to advise the client and solve problems 

Good Negotiation skills 

Strong proposal and writing skills  

Strong project management skills 

Excellent project management skills  

Independent and creative thinking 

Confident client communication skills 

Promote team spirit and group success 

Effective delegation and on the job coaching skills 

Takes responsibility for specific team development areas
