Help us get ahead of disease together with our Communications & Engagement Internship, 2026
Education required: Degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in Corporate Communications / Public Relations / Human Resource Management or related field e.g., Creative & Digital discipline with a significant data analytics element.
Other requirements: Must be enrolled at a Malaysia university for the duration of your studies and doing a credit-bearing internship
Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in English
Internship period: Between Aug 2026 to Mar 2027 (Minimum 6 months)

What will you do?
Contribute to the design and execution of communications and engagement plans that strengthen the awareness of GSK Culture & Values.
Deliver timely and accurate internal messaging, ensuring alignment with corporate priorities and using the most effective communication channels
Support & assist high-quality communication assets creation including visuals, videos content, and digital materials, in collaboration with key stakeholders to support Hub campaigns, townhalls, and engagement initiatives
Support the Engagement Team in planning, coordinating, and delivering initiatives that strengthen team effectiveness
Partner with Employee Resource Groups (ERG), locally and globally, to activate culture-building programs that foster a unified and vibrant Hub community
Share and bring in innovative ideas to support continuous improvements, based on academic learnings
Share reflections on internship experience and learnings aligned with academic goals
What will you learn?
A comprehensive understanding of corporate communications and employee engagement workflows within a global organization / MNC
Practical skills in cross-functional communications, aligned with strategic messaging and corporate objectives
Technical skills and ways of working in the context of Hub communications & engagement function deliverables
Best practices in employer branding, internal communications, policy adherence, and engagement strategies
Professional growth in business communication, especially when partnering with internal teams across different regions and cultures
Enhanced collaboration skills through interaction with both internal and external stakeholders
Foundational exposure to transformation, project management, and change management, as applied in a corporate environment
