Location: Mount Sinai, New York

Job Type: Full Time, Primarily Field-Based, Day and Evening Shifts

Bradford Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support a portfolio of MEP and Solar PV upgrade projects in Mount Sinai, New York. Projects include lighting system upgrades, energy management system integration, pneumatic to DDC conversions, infiltration reduction, solar PV installations, transformer replacements, refrigeration control upgrades, and fuel oil to natural gas conversions. This position requires three days/week of evening shift, field-based work, and two days/week of office-based documentation work.

Roles & Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate and oversee field activities across multiple active projects
  • Manage subcontractors to ensure adherence to project scope, schedule, and quality standards
  • Perform site walks to monitor progress and identify issues; prepare daily reports
  • Assist in resolving field issues and coordinating corrective actions
  • Liaise with internal teams, clients, and contractors to support project execution

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5–7 years of construction management experience, with significant exposure to MEP (especially electrical) systems and solar PV projects
  • Experience managing multiple subcontractors across concurrent projects
  • Proficiency with Procore and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work from project sites in Mount Sinai, New York multiple days/week. Field-work will typically be done in the evenings.

Education: Bachelors' degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or a related field. #LI-Onsite
