Job Summary

IS Solutions leads pricing, packaging, and financial strategy for Comcast, supported by a growthfocused, collaborative team. Within Strategic Solutions, this role sits on the CPPD team, managing and deploying key enhancements to buyflow and billing platforms while partnering across technology and business teams to deliver datadriven and user experience improvements in sales, service, and financial performance.

The position offers handson exposure to core billing and financial systems within a culture that prioritizes learning and development. 

Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

  • Represents the department as a primary technical point of contact for the functional systems and technology platform 

  • Serves as a subject matter expert to answer questions/concerns about functional platform changes and capabilities as well as policies and procedures. 

  • Provides thorough review of technical solutions for the platform to ensure configuration/development meets the business requirement specifications, designs and plans as well as ensuring a common understanding and agreement on deliverables. 

  • Preserves the integrity of the functional platform by reviewing potential downstream impacts of platform upgrades to ensure data integrity and functionality. 

  • Provides support for platform stability and aids with appropriate troubleshooting activities to collaboratively resolve problems and ensure high availability. 

  • Provides consistent, independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. 

  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary. 

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Skills/Experience Required: 

  • Billing Systems Experience (i.e. CSG, Amdocs, Ascendon) 

  • SQL Knowledge  

  • Analytical mindset  

  • Process Improvement experience  

  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills  

  • Ability to explain complex concepts in simplified ways  

  • Strong communication skills 

Preferred: 

  • CSG data table familiarity  

  • CSG bill/discount code familiarity  

  • ACSR familiarity  

  • Prior Experience with end-to-end testing of software releases  

  • AMDOCS CES Smiliarity

Bachelor's Degree
