Yext is seeking a highly skilled candidate for a SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting Manager to join its dynamic accounting team within a fast-paced organization. As part of the larger finance organization, this role will assist the leaders of the SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting function in providing the quarterly and annual financial reporting for the company.

Reporting directly to the SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting Senior Manager based in the US, the ideal candidate will be a demonstrated leader and team player who excels at meeting deadlines, is extremely detail oriented, and is able to prioritize multiple commitments.  Having a strong background in U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, external reporting processes and internal controls in a public company environment are also required.

Responsibilities

  • Compile quarterly and annual financial reporting SEC filings and related releases (Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-Ks), including the drafting and ownership of all financial statements, certain notes and MD&A disclosures
  • Ownership of supporting workpaper documentation, tie out process, PBC lists, and GAAP checklists
  • Project manage schedules of requests across multiple internal/external teams
  • Researching and drafting technical position memos related to complex accounting topics for new, unusual or non-standard transactions
