Cleveland Clinic is seeking an Administrative Program Coordinator II to provide dedicated support to the Office of the Chief of the Integrated Surgical Institute. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with executive leadership, managing complex administrative functions and serving as a key liaison between clinical operations and strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, professional discretion, and the ability to navigate a dynamic environment with multiple priorities. This position is integral to ensuring operational efficiency and supporting enterprise-wide objectives in surgical care and innovation. This is a hybrid position after being required to be on-site for 90 days. A caregiver in this position will work Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

  • Lead orientation and record management activities and ensure standards are maintained.
  • Develop and update interdepartmental education programs.
  • Assist with scheduling, coordination, preparation and communication of meetings.
  • Facilitates and attends meetings and records key outcomes.
  • Identifies key milestones and deadlines.
  • Communicates project status and requirements to achieve results.
  • Researches, analyzes and organizes information for presentations.
  • Assists department leadership with large or complex projects.
  • Initiates or leads less complex projects.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Associate's degree and three years administrative or project management experience OR High School diploma/GED and five years of experience can substitute work experience OR Bachelor’s degree and one year of experience can substitute work experience
  • May require license based on department/Institute need
  • Requires multitasking, critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in highly interactive team environment
  • Must be able to take appropriate action in a stressful environment
  • Solid communication and customer service skills
  • Strong computer skills and experience with software applications

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field
  • Experience developing programs (healthcare, financial or education
  • Healthcare experience or related organization

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment
  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
  • In some locations, ability to move to 25 pounds
