WHERE YOU’LL WORK

The priority location for this role is Charlotte, NC, but the location of this position can be flexible for an Octagon office location with priority given to qualified candidates who will work East Coast working hours and open to hybrid work (3 days a week in the office) in one of our office locations - Stamford, CT, New York, NY, Chicago, IL, Atlanta, GA, or Miami, FL. Requires full‑time travel and onsite availability from June through July, including willingness to work weekends and holidays during this period.

THE WORK YOU’LL DO 

Are you highly organized and detail-oriented? Do you excel at managing logistics, coordinating inventory and ensuring every moving part comes together seamlessly? If so, this opportunity is for you!

We are seeking a Senior Event Executive to support our financial services client’s nationwide FIFA World Cup 2026™ programming. The position will be instrumental in bringing to large-scale programs to life – leading apparel management and logistics efforts, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring every element aligns to seamlessly to deliver meaningful experiences for fans and communities across the country.

In this role, you will work closely with the Senior Experiential Manager and broader soccer team responsible for managing our client’s comprehensive soccer portfolio.

Success in this position requires a proactive mindset, strong project management skills, and a passion for organization and precision.

Roles and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Serve as point-person for logistics and apparel management
  • Prepare necessary event documents including inventory management documents, meeting notes, etc.
  • Coordinate timelines with vendors and internal Octagon resources
  • Develop a knowledge and understanding of financial service client’s sponsorship portfolio and business initiatives
  • Assist with vendor management, logistical planning, and preparation of event documents to aid in execution and recapping
  • Assist regional team managing all merchandise, premiums, and uniforms
  • Perform additional duties and administrative responsibilities as needed
