Boeing Global Services, Consumables & Expendables (C&E) Distribution Business, is looking for a Senior Supply Chain Specialist in Burgess Hill, UK.

In this dynamic role, you will develop and maintain long-term forecasts, manage inventory levels, and monitor inventory health to ensure high on-time delivery performance. You will collaborate with buyers through weekly planning meetings and lead monthly demand reviews with customers and cross-functional teams. Utilizing data analysis tools, you will balance supply and demand, track critical performance metrics, and implement corrective actions to support efficient supply chain operations and customer satisfaction.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a 24-month rolling forecast for the assigned commodity group by analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and expert input.

  • Manage inventory levels by setting and monitoring Min/Max thresholds, identifying variances, and implementing corrective actions to address significant deviations.

  • Monitor inventory health to ensure optimal customer service and maintain a high on-time delivery rate for the assigned commodity group.

  • Prepare and present data and materials for weekly planning meetings with buyers to support decision-making.

  • Take ownership of key performance metrics including inventory health, on-time delivery, purchasing past due, and forecast accuracy for the assigned commodity group.

  • Balance supply and demand for parts managed by assigned commodity buyers to meet program requirements.

  • Lead monthly demand review meetings with program customers and cross-functional teams to align forecasts and address issues.

  • Generate and analyze reports using Oracle, SAP, and Access/SQL to support planning and operational activities.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support team and organizational goals.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

  • 5+ Years experience in Planning or Supply chain role with a focus on planning and analytics.

  • Excellent excel skills gained in an analytical role, preferably being able to work with macros and scripting.

  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and data analysis tools such as JDA/SPM and Oracle BI to aggregate and summarise large volumes of historical data and identify trends or issues.

  • Proficiency in SQL, querying databases to support data analysis and reporting.

  • Experience with ERP system functionality with an emphasis on SAP.

  • Extensive data analysis skills from a previous role, ideally in forecasting, supply planning or similar.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience working in the aerospace or defense industry with knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.

  • Strong communication skills with experience delivering presentations to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities & a highly detail-oriented mindset.

  • Results-driven with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
