CACI International Inc. is excited to announce a new job opportunity available to join our team in support of the Department of Justice’s (DoJ) groundbreaking program aimed at strengthening the infrastructure, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving user experience across US Marshals Service (USMS) districts. This IT modernization initiative is a critical component of ensuring the effectiveness and security of our nation’s law enforcement operations.

We are looking for an experienced Network Architect to join our team on this new contract.  We invite skilled and passionate individuals to join us in support of this transformative mission.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect robust network infrastructures to support business objectives and growth.
  • Implement Zero Trust Architecture to enhance network security and protect sensitive data.
  • Configure and manage SD-WAN solutions to optimize network performance and reduce costs.
  • Integrate load balancers to ensure high availability and efficient traffic distribution across network resources.
  • Conduct network assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network solutions with IT and business strategies.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to network engineers and support staff.
  • Stay current with emerging network technologies, trends, and best practices.
  • Participate in the procurement and evaluation of network hardware and software.
  • Ensure compliance with network security policies, standards, and regulations.
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Conduct training sessions and knowledge-sharing activities to enhance team skills and capabilities.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Active DoD Public Trust clearance or US citizen with ability to obtain Public Trust upon hire
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Network Architect or in a similar senior network role.
  • Expertise in network infrastructure design and architecture.
  • Proven experience in implementing Zero Trust Architecture.
  • Strong skills in SD-WAN configuration and management.
  • Experience with load balancer integration and configuration.
  • In-depth knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS).
  • Proficiency in network security principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Desired:

  • Certifications such as Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), Juniper Networks Certified Internet Specialist (JNCIS), or equivalent.
  • Experience with cloud networking (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of software-defined networking (SDN) and network function virtualization (NFV).
  • Familiarity with network automation tools and scripts (e.g., Ansible, Python).
  • Experience with network monitoring and performance management tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds).

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
