The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As an Assistant Regional Service Manager, Canada you will directly manage day-to-day operations of service centers across a multi-provincial territory while driving excellence in customer service, operational performance, and compliance. You will make an impact by:

  • Organizing and structuring service center operations through staffing, training, coaching, evaluating, and recognizing service center personnel to deliver high productivity and strong customer outcomes; participating in selecting team members who align to Solventum culture and support retention.
  • Executing consistent team and territory communications to ensure awareness of company updates, operational priorities, and changes to policies and procedures.
  • Partnering with local Sales Managers and Customer Support teams to proactively manage customer needs, deliver customer-focused solutions, and ensure reliable field service performance aligned to expectations across the assigned territory.
  • Driving execution of organizational objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying best practices, enabling knowledge sharing, and improving performance across the territory.
  • Developing local execution plans to deploy resources and manage rental assets and supply inventories in alignment with Solventum quality management protocols, ensuring product availability and reliability to meet daily customer demands.
  • Empowering team members to resolve issues and implement solutions that improve customer satisfaction and the overall customer experience.
  • Conducting annual employee competency validations through on-site visits and ride-along while supporting customers and patients.
  • Managing the service center fleet vehicle program to ensure safe equipment utilization, adherence to vehicle safety practices, and execution of maintenance protocols.
  • Maintaining knowledge of local, provincial, and Canadian regulatory requirements and ensuring a compliant distribution network through leading with conformance, coaching, enforcement of internal procedures, and adherence to external regulatory requirements.
  • Ensuring a safe, orderly, and clean working environment across all territory locations.

Driving Requirements:

This position requires the use of a personal vehicle for company business and participation in Solventum’s Fixed and Variable Reimbursement (FAVR) program. As a condition of employment, candidates must successfully complete a pre-hire motor vehicle record (MVR) review and maintain ongoing eligibility, including compliance with Solventum’s driver policy, insurance requirements, and annual policy sign-off. Ongoing monitoring of motor vehicle history will be conducted. 

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited university AND four (4) years of years of service, distribution, or operations experience

OR

  • High School Diploma/GED (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution AND eight (8) years of service, distribution, or operations experience

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

  • Ability to travel by vehicle and airplane to attend business meetings/events and visit service sites and customer locations.
  • Current, valid Driver’s License.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the position through fitness testing as required in the Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
  • Bilingual: English and Canadian French required.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP and/or Oracle).
  • Knowledge of provincial and Canadian regulatory requirements and processes related to distribution of medical equipment and supplies.
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Experience managing rental assets and supply inventory in a regulated, distributed service network.
  • Intermediate experience using Microsoft Office (Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Experience managing processes and projects within multi-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and distribution compliance requirements (medical equipment/supplies preferred).
  • Demonstrated change leadership experience across multiple sites and cross-functional stakeholders.

Work Location

  • Hybrid Eligible (job duties require regular work in onsite facilities with occasional opportunities for remote work)
  • Must live within daily commuting distance of Montreal or Mississauga service center locations.

Travel

  • 30–50% travel across Canada and the U.S.; may require higher frequency during specific situations or projects.
  • Must have or be able to obtain appropriate travel documentation for travel within Canada and to the United States.
