About the job:
The Red Hat Americas Commercial Sales team is looking for a Hybrid Project Manager for LATAM / Executive Assistant to support the Vice President of Americas Commercial Sales and the LATAM Commercial Segment Leader.
In this role, you will serve as the main point of contact between executives, employees, business associates, customers and partners.
You'll manage the day-to-day office agenda, including calendar management, coordinating travel arrangements and related expense reports.
You’ll need to be highly organized with excellent interpersonal skills to help maximize the executive’s time and minimize interruptions.
You'll also need to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and demonstrate a passion for helping Red Hat achieve its goals.
You will balance the precision of executive administration (travel, scheduling, expenses and correspondence) with the strategic oversight of a Program Manager (governance, cross-functional leadership, and execution of commercial activities across LATAM).
This position can be based in Mexico, Colombia or in the US.
What you will do:
1. Strategic Program Leadership
Governance & Oversight: Lead multiple concurrent projects within the Americas Commercial Sales organization, ensuring they align with business priorities and hit key milestones. Be proactive in anticipating the executive’s needs and solving challenges before they escalate.
Risk & Interdependency Management: Proactively identify bottlenecks across different sales teams and mitigate risks before they require escalation.
Cross-Functional Facilitation: Lead meetings with stakeholders at all levels, fostering teamwork and driving the resolution of complex issues.
Data-Driven Reporting: Use Salesforce (SFDC), People glass and other PM tools to provide senior management with clear status updates on program health, budget, and resource allocation.
2. Executive Operations & Advocacy
Calendar & Time Governance: Own the VP’s schedule and LATAM Commercial Leader, ensuring time is strictly allocated to critical sales priorities, customer meetings, and partner engagements. Ensure that requests are responded to in a timely manner and using best judgment to assist and make decisions without supervision when applicable
Global Logistics: Manage complex international itineraries, including flights, hotels, and ground transportation, while ensuring all expense reporting follows Red Hat policy. Plan all internal and external meetings for the organization, manage the agenda, logistics, presentations, follow-up, and any other associated action items. Maintain deep knowledge of company operations, policies, and procedures
Confidential Project Management: Effectively manage the details of highly sensitive and critical company projects, ensuring total discretion. Compose and edit presentations and documents for senior management, events, and customer meetings. Build relationships with other executive assistants and PMs worldwide, both internally and externally with customers and partners.
What you will bring:
Experience: 5+ years of experience in an Executive Assistant, Program Manager, or Business Operations role, preferably supporting Sales Executives in a global matrix organization.
Linguistic Requirements: Fluency in Spanish and English is mandatory. Proficiency in Portuguese is highly desired to support the LATAM and broader Americas markets. Experience creating presentations and excellent written and verbal communication skills
Project Mastery: Thorough understanding of program management techniques. Proven ability to manage large, complex projects under aggressive deadlines, with ability to influence through the matrix to meet deadlines and execute priorities such as account planning deadlines, large deal pre work, coordinate Partner showcases and programs across LATAM. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and tasks with solid analytical skills
Technical Savvy: High proficiency in Salesforce (SFDC), project & Time management and the Google Workspace suite. Experience creating presentations and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven experience ensuring that the executive's calendar is properly managed to maximize the effective use of their time, allocating time to critical areas as needed. Experience coordinating global calendars while working across numerous time zones.
Leadership & Influence: Demonstrated influence stakeholders without direct authority, and innovate under changing conditions. Proven ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail. Solid work ethic and positive attitude, ability to work as part of a team
Education: Bachelor’s degree is a plus; certification in Project Management (PMP) is highly valued.
Language skills: English/Spanish or English/Portuguese advanced level
