About the role
We are seeking a Medical Affairs Manager to provide medical leadership and scientific expertise across GSK’s Specialty portfolio, with a key focus on Haematology and Oncology, supporting current medicines and future pipeline in New Zealand.
This role involves a combination of office-based responsibilities and field-based scientific engagement with healthcare professionals.
Your role will be varied and will include:
Develop and execute local medical strategy across Specialty therapy areas
Lead high-quality scientific exchange with healthcare professionals and experts
Provide medical input to submissions, materials, reimbursement and brand activities
Represent GSK across cross-functional initiatives and scientific meetings
About you
We are looking for a strategic and collaborative Medical Affairs professional with strong scientific capability and experience across Specialty medicine. You will have a strong background in Haematology and/or Oncology, with the ability to work across evolving portfolios.
You will need:
Experience in Medical Affairs within Specialty, Haematology and/or Oncology
Strong capability in critical appraisal and interpretation of scientific data
Proven experience engaging specialists and healthcare professionals in New Zealand
A tertiary qualification in Science, Pharmacy or Medicine (postgraduate preferred)
