JLL is currently seeking an individual to join our Value and Risk Advisory team in Edmonton, as a Coordinator level. This high performance and dynamic team is expanding on its professional services team, in coordination with overall growth plans within JLL Canada, and globally.

At this time, the group focuses on valuation assignments of ‘Core 4’ real estate assets (Retail, Office, Industrial and Residential), with some localized specialization in multi-family, seniors housing, and hotel properties.
What this job involves:
We are currently seeking an individual for the role of Coordinator to provide reliable, timely, and professional support to the growing team. This role would report directly to the local Value and Risk leader, Alison McGavigan – but with the opportunity to interact and work with professionals across the country. This position aims to provide a wide variety of support services to the team, and the successful candidate will be strong at, and enjoy working with numbers, possess strong writing skills, be extremely detail-oriented, organized, and a team player.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Working closely with team members to create, edit, and/or prepare market research and assist in the preparation of appraisal reports
- Conducting research and collecting information materials on market fundamentals, ownership, tenants, and economic analysis
- Manage appraisal workflow processes and ensure the smooth operation of the Edmonton valuation platform
- Assist with preparing invoices, engagement letters, and other written documentation as required
- Coordinate, prepare, edit, proofread, and prioritize all documents including correspondence, presentations, surveys and appraisal reports
- Create/draft/modify moderate to complex presentation slides in PowerPoint or other media formats
- Organize, update, and manage expense forms, billings and/or reports, as required
- Coordinate and organize meetings, conference calls, video conferences, and net meetings and their related materials as required
- Manage the distribution of direct mail and couriers when required
- Research data on behalf of the senior staff members
- Work closely with a team to ensure that all administrative needs are met
- Any other reasonable duties and responsibilities assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, Urban Economics, Urban Planning, or Urban Geography, is an asset
- Demonstrated proficiency with all applicable software packages including but not limited to: MS Windows; MS Office, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; Adobe Professional, X, or Standard
- Excellent verbal and written, and interpersonal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-2 years full-time professional experience in the commercial real estate sector is an asset
