Job Description

Job Description Summary:

As a Senior Manager for End‑to‑End Experience and Connections Strategy , you will play a central role in how our brands show up across the full consumer journey. This position is part of our Marketing organization and partners closely with integrated marketing teams, brand leaders, media agencies, public relations, bottling partners, and customer teams across Japan. Your work will directly influence how we build meaningful connections with consumers, transform real‑time insights into action, and deliver data‑driven, digitally enabled, and culturally relevant experiences that strengthen our market leadership.

We are looking for a strategic thinker with deep media expertise, an innovative mindset, a collaborative spirit, and the ability to bring clarity and direction within a highly dynamic and connected system. If you are passionate about orchestrating experiences that move people and shape culture—and you thrive in a global company committed to continuous learning and transformation—this role is for you.

What You’ll Do for Us

  • Develop and implement end‑to‑end connection strategies and consumer experience architectures that support category growth and elevate brand relevance across Japan.
  • Lead the planning, optimization, and allocation of marketing campaign budgets across all channels, ensuring data‑driven decision‑making and strong return on investment.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on consumer behavior, media trends, and channel performance across Japan, translating insights into clear agency briefs and actionable media strategies.
  • Lead negotiations and direction for paid media investments across national, local, and digital channels—including television, print, out‑of‑home, audio, social, search, mobile, and programmatic—to maximize impact and efficiency.
  • Partner with brand, integrated marketing experience, insights, digital commerce, and customer teams to create and deliver seamless, integrated end‑to‑end campaigns.
  • Evaluate program performance through measurement frameworks, post‑campaign analysis, and insights dashboards; identify learnings that inform future work and long‑term strategic planning.
  • Integrate tools such as marketing analytics, audience data, media modeling, experimentation, and competitive intelligence to strengthen connections planning and reinforce precision marketing.
  • Understand and map the full path‑to‑purchase—consumer, shopper, customer, and bottler—to ensure holistic planning that drives both brand equity and commercial outcomes.
  • Coordinate research initiatives with internal and external partners to evaluate program performance across revenue, brand health, and engagement.
  • Manage relationships with agencies, content partners, and external suppliers to ensure best‑in‑class execution, innovation, and operational excellence.
  • Identify opportunities for new formats, partnerships, and creative connections that differentiate Coca‑Cola experiences in the Japan market.
  • Oversee end‑to‑end execution of multiple media and connections programs simultaneously, ensuring they deliver against targets, stay on budget, and align with global and regional standards.
  • Champion cross‑system collaboration, fostering partnership and agility across Coca‑Cola teams and bottling partners.
  • Influence and inspire stakeholders through strong communication, compelling storytelling, and data‑backed recommendations.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, media strategy, connections planning, or integrated communications within Japan or other mature consumer markets.
  • Deep experience designing and activating integrated marketing campaigns across paid, owned, earned, and shared channels.
  • Expertise in media planning and buying across both traditional and digital channels, including digital display, video, mobile, social, paid search, retail media, and connected TV.
  • Strong analytical skills, including comfort with performance data, media math, modeling tools, dashboards, and platforms used in modern marketing ecosystems.
  • Experience leading cross‑functional teams and influencing multiple stakeholders—including agencies, insights teams, brand leaders, and commercial partners.
  • Strong understanding of Japan’s consumer, cultural, and media landscape, with the ability to translate trends into strategic opportunities.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects, prioritize effectively, and execute with excellence under tight timelines.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and storytelling skills to influence decisions across diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including enterprise collaboration, stakeholder management, and the ability to lead through change.
  • Digital fluency and enthusiasm for emerging technologies, including marketing automation, artificial intelligence, generative AI tools (such as ChatGPT or Copilot), and measurement technologies.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial stewardship in a marketing or commercial setting.
  • Commitment to inclusive, consumer‑first thinking and ability to design experiences accessible to a wide range of audiences.

What We’ll Do for You

  • Offer a culture that promotes continuous learning, development, and global exposure—allowing you to grow your career in one of the world’s most recognized brands.
  • Provide competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and market‑leading well‑being resources designed to support your total life experience.
