This role has been designed as ‘’Onsite’ with an expectation that you will primarily work from an HPE office.

Job Description:

   

What you’ll do:

  • Lead multiple project teams (internal and outsourced) across the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and integration for complex products and platforms.
  • Own and drive system architecture, ensuring effective design and integration of software systems across multiple platforms.
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with internal stakeholders and external development partners.
  • Review system designs and project activities to ensure compliance with engineering standards, improve product quality, and reduce risk.
  • Provide technical leadership and domain expertise across cross-functional and cross-organization initiatives.
  • Drive innovation by evaluating and integrating new technologies into existing and new systems.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering technical growth and best practices within the team.

What you need to bring:

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent, with 6–10 years of experience in software development.
  • Architecture Expertise: Strong experience in designing and architecting complex software systems and integrating them across multiple platforms.
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with multiple programming languages, development tools, and software design methodologies.
  • Systems & Networking Expertise:
    • Broadcom Network ASIC / silicon (XGS, DNX, Trident, Jericho)
    • Datapath / Dataplane design
    • Packet forwarding pipelines
    • Multicast technologies (IGMP/MLD snooping, PIM, NG MVPN – Rosen)
    • Strong expertise in chip-level programming, multicast optimization, and forwarding logic
  • Systems Thinking: Deep understanding of end-to-end software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and integration.
  • Testing & Quality: Experience in defining and executing test strategies, debugging, and using testing tools and frameworks.
  • Analytical Ability: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to handle complex technical challenges.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Proven ability to lead teams, work across functions, and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present architectural designs and influence senior stakeholders.
