We are looking for a strategic, data-driven, and highly collaborative Field Operations Manager to act as the dedicated business partner to our Solutions organization - which includes Solution Engineering, Value Engineering, Product Outcomes Managers, Demo Engineering, and Instructional Design.

In this role, you will sit at the intersection of strategy, operations, analytics, and change management. You won't just report on the news; you will help make it. You will partner with Solutions leadership to define the strategy, while simultaneously rolling up your sleeves to build the infrastructure, processes, and cadence required to execute that strategy.

You will act as the "Voice of the Field," working cross-functionally with Finance, Recruiting, Operations, Strategy, Enablement, and Product to secure the resources and alignment necessary for the Solutions team to deliver exceptional value to Gong customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Planning & Resource Management

  • Operational Strategy: Partner with Solutions leadership to design the long-term operational strategy, moving beyond day-to-day tactics to drive scalable growth.
  • Capacity Planning: Look around corners and prepare multiple quarters ahead. Collaborate with the Strategy team on robust capacity models to identify hiring needs, prioritize resources, and ensure the team is staffed to meet future demand.
  • Business Partnering: Act as the primary liaison between the Solutions organization and back-office functions (Finance, HR/Recruiting, Deal Desk) to remove friction and secure necessary headcount and budget.

Operational Excellence & Rhythm of Business

  • Process Definition: Define, document, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency in customer experience and internal operations.
  • Operating Rhythm: Own the cadence of the business. Define and drive key motions for the leadership team to ensure accountability and transparency.
  • Change Management: Lead the rollout of new initiatives, tools, and processes. Ensure field readiness and drive high adoption rates across the Solutions team.
  • Project Management: Lead cross-functional projects aimed at improving win-rates, retention, and adoption.

Analytics & Performance Management
