We are looking for a Senior Technical Producer to drive the delivery of our most ambitious digital innovations, guiding our world-class production teams to define the future of digital interaction. This strategic position will focus on orchestrating complex, end-to-end productions—spanning immersive web experiences and AI-driven workflows, to real-time game development, and Augmented and Virtual Reality solutions.

Sorry folks! This is not a position suited for film or TV writers or producers. You must have strong digital and technical production experience.

About the Role

As a Senior Technical Producer, you’ll be the engine behind our digital production, managing a wide array of interactive campaigns from concept to completion. This is a hands-on role where you will quote, budget, and oversee the execution of complex digital projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope. Monks is an end-to-end digital company with in-house talent involved from start to finish—therefore, the buck starts and stops with you.

We are looking for a producer who doesn’t just think in projects but in partnerships, fostering client relationships that look miles (and milestones) ahead. You will work across teams, time zones, and technologies, serving as a steady hand in a fast-paced environment where you are expected to juggle multiple workstreams efficiently while delivering outstanding results.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full production lifecycle of digital campaigns, ranging from small-scale activations to large-scale interactive websites and immersive experiences.
  • Take full ownership of project financials; you must be able to quote and budget digital projects accurately, grasping technology well enough to establish realistic costs and timings.
  • Act as the central hub for communication between international offices, creative teams, and technical developers, ensuring everyone is aligned.
  • Utilize management tools (such as Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet) to plan resources, track progress, and mitigate risks in real-time.
  • Oversee the technical pipelines for web and app-based projects, including WebGL, AR/VR, and emerging AI integrations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with top-tier clients who will seek your expertise and leadership on the production of their ideas.
  • Navigate a fast-paced environment with resilience, adapting quickly to changes while keeping the team focused on delivery.

About You

The essentials:

  • 7+ years of high-level experience in digital production, ideally serving as a senior producer at a digital production company or agency.
  • Proven experience producing interactive campaigns using modern web technologies (WebGL, Three.js) and immersive applications (Unity, Unreal Engine).
  • Experience with web-based AR (e.g., 8th Wall, Niantic) and an understanding of the 2D/3D asset pipelines required to support them.
  • Familiarity with Generative AI tools and how they can be applied to production workflows for efficiency or creative asset generation.
  • Evident management skills with a demonstrated ability to juggle multiple projects efficiently without compromising quality.
  • Strong financial acumen; you are comfortable owning the budget and understand the implications of technical decisions on the bottom line.
  • Excellent planning and communication skills, with a mastery of project management software (Jira experience is a must).

Not a must, but a plus
