The Role
As a Senior Solution Consultant, you will use your subject matter expertise to drive growth for Brandwatch and Cision, with a strong focus on Enterprise customers.
You will partner with a range of sales teams, including New Business and Account Management, to help win and grow business. This will involve understanding complex media and consumer intelligence needs, designing tailored solutions to meet them, and supporting the presentation of these solutions to clearly demonstrate their value.
As a subject matter expert, you will also contribute across the wider organisation. This may include supporting the development of thought leadership content, contributing to marketing initiatives, and helping champion customer-centric innovation within our product and services teams.
Duties and Responsibilities
The role is defined, but not limited to, the following:
Strategic Opportunity Consulting
- Discovery & Scoping: You will lead deep-dive discovery sessions with prospective and existing customers to uncover their key marketing and communications challenges and business goals.
- Solution Design: You will scope a blend of software and services from across our product portfolio to meet customer requirements.
- Developing Responses: You will contribute high-quality slides to RFP and opportunity responses, collaborating with the wider Solutions Consulting team to build relevant demos that demonstrate our value.
- Pricing: You will build custom pricing for scopes of work based on a strong assessment of requirements. You will liaise with internal production and customer success teams to gather input, validate costs, and obtain approvals where required.
- Pitching & Presentation: You will confidently articulate the value of our solution in customer presentations, answer questions on proposals, and act as a trusted subject matter expert.
Product & Service Knowledge
- You will keep up to date with Brandwatch & Cision’s evolving portfolio of software and service solutions (including BCR, SMM, Trajaan, Briefings, and Analysis Reporting) and help shape the combined customer proposition.
- You will conduct regular knowledge-sharing sessions with the wider Solutions Consulting team, sharing your expertise and learning about new offerings from others.
- You will contribute to thought leadership materials on new services, collaborating with Solutions, Insights Consulting, and Professional Services to support improved marketing activity.
