Job Description
As a Real Estate & Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the day‑to‑day workplace experience for our Helsinki office, ensuring a safe, engaging, and efficient environment while supporting global workplace initiatives.
You’ll thrive in this role if you’re proactive, organized, service‑oriented, and enjoy working with diverse teams in an international setting!
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day‑to‑day facility operations for the Helsinki office, analyze and supervise the maintenance and purchase of office supplies and equipment.
- Act as the main-contact for landlord, building management, and vendors, running office daily operations, security, maintenance, and services.
- Partner with local leadership, People@Nasdaq, CIT and other teams for any related projects and initiatives for the Site.
- Coordinate employee engagement activities and site events in partnership with local leadership to strengthen culture and connection.
- Own occupational health and safety in line with Finnish legal requirements and Nasdaq policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in facilities management, workplace-operations, or a related field.
- Fluent Finnish speaker with excellent English skills.
- Strong ability to work with multiple collaborators and vendors in a dynamic environment.
- Experience working and communicating with collaborators in international teams.
- Proficiency in common workplace and productivity tools and strong overall digital literacy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a global or regulated organization.
- Familiarity with Finnish workplace health and safety practices and requirements.
- Experience supporting activities that improve employee engagement or workplace experience.
