The Team:

The Technical Relationship Management team is responsible for proactively working with Strategic Accounts globally, with the prime goal of being a single point of contact for all technical questions and/or firm-wide issues and interactions at the Account - for S&P Global stakeholders as well as Client stakeholders

Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Serve as the primary technical liaison between clients and internal engineering teams, translating complex technical requirements into actionable solutions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key technical stakeholders at client organizations, understanding their infrastructure needs and business objectives
  • Lead technical discovery sessions and solution design workshops to identify opportunities for platform optimization and integration
  • Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to prioritize feature development based on client feedback and market demands
  • Provide technical guidance during the sales process, including proof-of-concepts, technical presentations, and solution architecture discussions
  • Monitor client technical health metrics and proactively address potential issues before they impact business operations

What We're Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications / Skill set:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of experience in technical client-facing roles such as solutions engineering, technical account management, or customer success
  • Strong understanding of enterprise software architecture, including cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience with API integration and data management technologies including REST/GraphQL APIs, database systems, and data pipeline tools
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven track record of managing multiple client relationships and technical projects simultaneously

Additional Preferred Qualifications/ Skill set:

  • Experience in financial services, data analytics, or enterprise software industries
  • Hands-on experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Zapier, or custom API development
  • Background in data analysis tools including SQL, Python, or business intelligence platforms like Tableau or Power BI
  • Previous experience in technical sales, solution architecture, or customer success management roles
