Business Development Director, FX & Treasury Solutions

Description
Apex provides comprehensive fund servicing solutions for open-end and closed-end funds across Alternative Managers, including Hedge Funds and Private Capital Strategies. Job specification
- Client Management: Acquiring and maintaining a portfolio of clients by providing expert guidance on currency risk management and hedging strategies.
- Trade Execution: Collaborating with the trading desk to price and execute spot, forward, and derivative transactions (options, swaps) efficiently.
- Market Insight: Providing timely updates on macroeconomic trends, central bank policies (e.g., FOMC, ECB), and geopolitical risks affecting currency values.
- Product Development: Identifying client needs for specific FX solutions, such as algorithmic execution or structured products, and pitching tailored ideas.
- Sales Targets: Consistently meeting or exceeding revenue and client development targets set by management.
Skills Required:
- A Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Knowledge of trading platforms like Bloomberg or Reuters, and a growing need for understanding algorithmic trading (eFX) and data analysis.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities to translate complex financial concepts into actionable client strategies.
- Strong quantitative skills to model and structure FX products and interpret market microstructure.
- Familiarity with compliance standards, KYC/AML policies, and relevant certifications (e.g., ACI Dealing Certificate or Series 7/63).

Salary ranges from USD $150,000 – USD $200,000. Compensation within this range is dependent on individual's skills, experience and qualifications.
