About the role
As we continue to drive the AI analytics conversation around the world, Amplitude is strengthening its AI-native storytelling muscle, particularly on X/Twitter. We want to move faster, understand the key players better, and amplify the voices of our CEO and other thought leaders.
In this role you will join Amplitude’s Corporate Marketing team, reporting to the Head of Communications. You will partner directly with our CEO, key AI leaders, product development, and product marketing to help shape exec social content that is authoritative and thought-provoking.
Key responsibilities
Exec social
- Partner with Amplitude’s CEO to create a rolling content calendar that is heavily AI-centric, provocative, yet supportive of the overall Amplitude position.
- Develop a recognizable AI-native voice for Amplitude’s exec presence on social.
- Track, surface, and translate emerging AI ecosystem trends into founder-level content.
- Create effective workflows for drafts, approvals, and rapid content iteration.
AI-native content creation
- Turn launches, new capabilities, internal prototypes, and research into X/Twitter-native content (threads, demos, contrasts, POV takes).
- Build a pipeline of creative content formats (video snippets, developer POVs, behind-the-scenes prototyping, technical breakdowns).
- Work closely with our in-house creative and comms team to turn founder content into snackable formats.
Measurement & learning
- Translate performance into insight: what posts hit which audiences, what formats drive depth vs. reach, and what signals indicate other opportunities?
- Build a learning loop across launches, platforms, and formats.
You’ll excel in this role if:
- You are AI-native with a focus primarily on X/Twitter (but other channels too) and are comfortable working directly with founders and executive leadership teams.
- You follow the labs, the model drops, the eval debates, the agent breakthroughs.
- You can read a paper, understand a prompt-chain, and translate it for public consumption.
- You know the difference between a good post, a credible one, and a viral one.
- You can synthesize and ship content fast, especially during major launches.
- You have experience managing controversy on social media and know the right actions to neutralize a situation on a social platform.
Preferred experience
- 3-5 years in high-velocity social for an AI startup, developer tools, or technical founder.
- Proven track record of social content (e.g. threads, hot takes, technical breakdowns, storytelling) breaking through.
- Experience analyzing and navigating the rapidly evolving dynamics of AI on X/Twitter
