Role Type: People leader/ Manager
The Senior Manager, Global Mobility Payroll will provide strategic leadership and operational excellence across all mobility‑related payroll activities globally. This role strengthens the governance, accuracy, and control environment of Global Mobility payroll delivery while driving global alignment, quality assurance, and continuous improvement across processes and systems. As a senior leader, this role will establish robust review frameworks, evolve peer‑review disciplines, deepen partnership with Global Payroll, and create a more streamlined, controlled, and efficient operating model.
What You’ll Do for Us:
Serve as the central point of oversight for mobility payroll delivery across 80+ local payrolls, including live and shadow payrolls.
Design, implement and maintain an enhanced global control environment, ensuring accuracy, data integrity, and compliance across all mobility payroll activities.
Lead the end‑to‑end review of payroll processes to strengthen efficiencies, standardize workflows, enhance automation opportunities and embed rigorous quality‑assurance.
Establish standardized audit procedures and recurring reconciliation cycles across regions to proactively identify variances and mitigate risk.
Harmonize processes, tools, and service-delivery standards across all countries and vendor partners to ensure consistent execution globally.
Ensure all regional teams operate under unified policies, SLAs, and documentation standards.
Introduce and manage structured peer-review cycles to strengthen process accuracy, knowledge sharing, and operational resilience.
Build a culture of co‑ownership, cross‑training, and peer validation to reduce single‑point dependencies and elevate team capability.
Develop metrics and dashboards to monitor operational performance, cycle times, and quality across all regions.
Establish a deeper operational partnership with Global Payroll to ensure alignment on timing, accuracy, compliance requirements, and employee experience.
Serve as the senior liaison for escalations, audits, and cross‑functional initiatives.
Lead a team of 3 direct reports.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
5+ years’ experience in multi-country payroll, global mobility compensation, or tax.
Proven experience leading payroll governance, compliance and process transformation initiatives.
Ability to manage complex global operations, influence stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment.
Strong analytical discipline and attention to detail.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal)
Ability to work in a team and to build strong work relationships
