JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION SUMMARY: Material Handling - Loadout Positions - Storm Lake Distribution Center - Storm Lake, Iowa

Starting Pay: $21/HR

This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. 

DUTIES (Include, but are not limited to the following):

  • This position is located in the cold-side storage of this pork processing facility. 
  • Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching are required in all areas.  
  • Repetitive lifting is required – weight of boxes varies, from 10-100 lbs. 
  • Must be able and willing to work in a cold work environment (Average temperature ranges from 15 degrees, to -15, depending on area).
  • This facility runs 6 days a week, Monday - Saturday.
