Stitch Fix (NASDAQ: SFIX) is the leading online personal styling service that helps people discover the styles they will love that fit perfectly so they always look - and feel - their best. About the Team

The People and Culture team is committed to creating a fulfilling and inspiring place to work for all of the people who deliver that client experience - from our warehouse team to tech talent to merchandising to stylists. We pride ourselves on creating a fun and collaborative environment where we solve problems together. We are looking for people and culture leaders who are bright, kind and motivated by challenge to join our team.

About the Role

Our team is seeking a Lead Technical Recruiter who has spent real time in the codebase and understands why the nuances of platform engineering and distributed systems actually matter. You are likely an engineer by trade who found a second calling in talent and can speak the same language as our candidates and dive deep into the intricacies of tech profiles without breaking a sweat.  You will act as a partner across our IT, Platform, Data Security, Engineering, Product, and Algos teams to find the best-in-class builders who thrive at the intersection of Tech and Retail.  Because you understand the technology as well as the talent, you will also take the lead in piloting and implementing AI within our hiring engine. You are someone who can strategically integrate AI to automate the mundane, sharpen our sourcing precision, and architect a modern workflow that stays ahead of the curve.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Own the full-cycle technical engine. You’ll drive the end-to-end process—from collaborating on specialized job specs to sourcing and closing mid-level and senior talent—across our most technical teams.
  • Lead the charge on AI-integrated recruiting. You won’t just be using tools; you’ll be piloting and implementing AI workflows to solve the "noise" problem in the talent funnel, ensuring our sourcing and assessment methods are as cutting-edge as the Algos team itself.
  • Architect a diverse, high-signal talent pipeline. You’ll move beyond basic outreach to build a top-of-funnel strategy that prioritizes engineering excellence and diversity, ensuring we’re finding the best builders from every corner of the industry.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to technical leadership. You’ll partner directly with senior leaders to provide deep, data-driven insights into the talent market, helping shape our headcount strategy and team health with an engineer’s eye for optimization.
  • Level up our entire recruiting culture. You’ll move the needle by building systemic improvements into our hiring model—serving as a technical mentor within the talent team and setting a high bar for integrity, technical depth, and collaborative partnership.

We’re excited about you because…

  • You have 6+ years of experience navigating the technical talent landscape. You’ve spent the bulk of your career embedded within high-growth tech teams, successfully closing complex roles across Platform, Data Security, and AI/ML. You don’t just know the titles but you know the dependencies between the teams.
  • You have a foundational background in engineering. Whether you started your career as a dev, have a CS degree, or spent years in a deeply technical role before transitioning to talent. This technical literacy is your "superpower" when vetting talent.
  • You’ve mastered the art of the technical close. You know how to engage senior engineers and architects because you speak their language. You understand their motivations—from tech stack scalability to the challenges of distributed systems—and yo
