주요 책임:

온톨로지 및 시맨틱/지식 계층을 구현하여 통합 데이터 접근 및 분석을 지원하는 데이터 플랫폼의 설계·개발·테스트 지원
메타데이터 기반 수집 파이프라인 및 시맨틱 데이터 모델 개발 보조
시맨틱 레이어를 활용하는 AI 구성요소(검색, RAG, 코파일럿, ML 모델 통합 등) 개발·평가 지원
통합 데이터와 분석 도구를 연결하는 API 및 통합 작업 지원
글로벌 분산 팀과 협업하여 설계, 코드 작성, 테스트 수행
프로젝트 회의 참여 및 요구사항 수집·보고
애자일 개발 방식, CI/CD 및 자동화된 테스트, 보안적 설계 준수

기본 자격:

• 컴퓨터공학, 데이터사이언스, 공학 또는 관련 전공의 학사(재학 또는 졸업 예정) 이상
• 소프트웨어 개발(인턴십, 학업 프로젝트 등) 경험(코딩 및 테스트 포함)
• Python, Java,  C# 등 프로그래밍 언어 숙련도
• 데이터베이스 및 SQL/SPARQL 기초 지식
• 영어 의사소통 능력(구두·문서)
• 배우려는 자세 및 팀 협업 능력

우대 자격:

• 데이터 모델링, 온톨로지, RDF/OWL 또는 시맨틱 웹 기술 관련 학습/프로젝트 경험
• ETL, 메타데이터 기반 수집, Spark, Airflow 등 데이터 엔지니어링 도구 경험
• AI/ML 워크플로우, 모델 배포, RAG 또는 LLM 통합 경험 또는 관심
• 그래프 DB/지식 그래프(예: Neo4j, Fuseki) 경험
• RESTful API 개발, 클라우드, 컨테이너(Docker)/ OpenShift(OCP), CI/CD 파이프라인 경험
• 엔지니어링·제조·운영 데이터에 대한 관심(선호)

The Boeing Korea Engineering and Technology Center (BKETC) is seeking a motivated Software Engineer Intern to join the Software Engineering team in Seoul, Korea. As part of the Boeing Enterprise Software Products and Global Technology team, this internship will provide hands-on experience in the development and deployment of cloud-based data software platform used in support of commercial aerospace products.

Position Responsibilities:

• Support the design, development, and testing of a data fusion warehouse that implements ontologies and a semantic/knowledge layer to enable unified data access and analytics
• Assist in building metadata-driven ingestion pipelines and semantic data models to enable downstream analytics and AI use cases
• Help develop and evaluate AI components that leverage the semantic layer (examples: intelligent search, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), copilots, or ML model integrations)
• Create APIs and integrations to expose fused/authoritative data to downstream consumers and analytics tools
• Participate in a globally-distributed team to help design, code, and test software
• Attend project meetings to learn project status and contribute to discussions
• Interact with teammates and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates
• Support Agile software development practices, CI/CD, automated testing, and security-by-design processes

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in software development (internships, academic projects, or coursework), including design, coding, and testing
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, , C#)
• Basic knowledge of databases and SQL/SPARQL
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Motivated attitude with willingness to learn and contribute to a team

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Course work or project experience in data modeling, ontologies, RDF/OWL, or semantic web technologies
• Familiarity with data engineering tools and frameworks (ETL, metadata-driven ingestion, Spark, Airflow, etc.)
• Interest or experience in AI/ML workflows, model deployment, RAG, or LLM integration
• Experience with graph databases or knowledge graphs (e.g., Neo4j, Fuseki)
• Experience with RESTful API development, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), containerization (Docker)/OpenShift(OCP), and CI/CD pipelines
• Interest in engineering, manufacturing, or operations data (helpful but not required)
