The Role:
Working with a small team to support ANZ to deliver best in class Engineering SME support to the Work Dynamics accounts to achieve our overall objectives of providing: -
Support accounts during and post mobilisation and transition to ensure they can operate effectively using available technology and meet client expectations. Ensuring the correct solutions are deployed with the correct resources to promote JLL delivery.
The scope of support is wide and goes beyond setting the account up for functionally and success, but offering ongoing expertise in terms of engineering expertise, regulatory compliance, systems reliability, PPM tuning, driving quality, while optimizing cost. Continuously drive innovation and improve JLL’s engineering services offering in partnership with JLL Work Dynamics Technology, offerings.
The role is dynamic and will involve collaboration with other functional and engineering talent across Work Dynamics to deliver the best value for WD accounts and their clients.
Duties include but are not limited to:
• Subject matter expert in general engineering operations supporting targeted accounts and ad-hoc Work Dynamics business
• Promote new and innovative maintenance techniques, while reducing risk on the account.
• A good understanding of Legislative requirements across ANZ in terms of legislative PPM requirements.
• Ensure client expectation is met or exceeded in all aspects of delivery.
• Exploit opportunity to develop and expand engineering delivery in ANZ
• Smaller accounts may require engineering expertise and support, root cause analysis, risk mitigation support.
• Identify, using the Corrigo data base, opportunity for account improvements and areas of potential non compliances.
• Identify opportunities and requirements to connect other SMEs in the Centre of Expertise Platform to accounts
• Promoting engineering and technical services innovation in partnership with Work Dynamics Technology to drive best in class operational performance on all assigned accounts through idea sharing, and general collaboration.
• Support engineering operations transition activities for new business and expansions including on-boarding requirements.
• Support account wide, Consultancy services, where appropriate.
• Develop comprehensive standard operating procedures where needed with other SME’s, standard response procedures, and emergency procedures - including training, guidance and deployment of our JLL Client Assurance Program (JCAP) as an Engineering SME on JLL minimum standards of engineering delivery.
• Lead and ensure deployment and implementation of JLL Safe Systems of Work Procedures and Incident Management Procedures and CMO platform in the hub
• Provide engineering expertise in RFP/RFI/RFT response efforts as required; this could include collaborating on technical responses, staffing model development, site tours and pricing exercises and technical deliverables.
• Work with HSSE, Sustainability Services and Mobile Engineering to ensure safe operating conditions.
• Support deployment of maintenance and asset management programs utilizing CMMS and other technology/ tools. Drive utilization and optimize data quality/consistency.
• Deploy technical training programs and certification programs in support of and alignment with Education and Professional Development strategy.
• Ensure effective and consistent collaboration with HSSE and QC teams to deliver compliance and assurance programs and meet JLL minimum standards.
• Assess IFM technical resources, support the development of engineering and technical talent in the sub region.
• Incident reporting, review significant incidents and share findings and lessons learned.
• Conduct on-site building evaluations and due diligence efforts including oversight, evaluation and reporting. These could be Ad-hoc and for bid or expansion purposes.
• Support as the SME, the IFM technical team in related services (including code, Union concerns etc).
• Collaborate extensively with other functions within the COE to drive best value of the platform’s programs and SMEs to accounts
What you will bring:
• A team player, but able to work independently, to meet goals
• Minimum 10 years in engineering operations in IFM
• A university degree in engineering; Preferably electrical or mechanical.
• Direct experience leading/managing others and demonstrating followership.
• Experience of account mobilisation and ongoing support services.
• Requires a continuous improvement mindset with an ability to promote change amongst teams.
• Experience driving and deploying large scaling initiatives and programs across varied people, assets and geographies.
• Position could require 10% travel.
• Requires general understanding and can demonstrate understanding Engineering Delivery, commercial implications and risk, and change management.
• Demonstrated collaborative leadership skills and ability to quickly identify, respond to and resolve issues.
• Should have broad understanding of various IFM commercial structures and implications of each related to operational delivery, especially in the ANZ market.
• General understanding and experience with Real Estate Outsourcing, and client needs and expectations.
