Job Description

Toast is driven by building the restaurant platform that helps restaurants adapt, take control, and get back to what they do best: building the businesses they love.

We're looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to help build new Embedded Finance capabilities. Toast is built from the ground up for restaurants with over one hundred thousand restaurants using Toast (including hundreds in Ireland!). As a result, we are well-positioned to provide financial services such as bank accounts, debit and credit cards tailored specifically to restaurants. We need your help to grow our platform and add the next generation of these products.

A day in the life (Responsibilities)

You will work on a small team leading the development on new products and features
Review code to ensure technical implementations meet functional requirements
Collaborate with other teams across Toast
Gain an understanding and contribute to team discussions on product features, design, marketing and strategy

What you'll need to thrive (Requirements)

Solid experience in Java, Kotlin or other object oriented language
Solid experience in Javascript/Typescript and a frontend framework such as React
Strong experience with system design and architecture principals
Passionate about making users happy and seeing people use your product in the wild.

**This role requires a minimum of two days per week in our Dublin office**
