Roku is changing how the world watches TV
Roku is the #1 TV streaming platform in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, and we've set our sights on powering every television in the world. Roku pioneered streaming to the TV. Our mission is to be the TV streaming platform that connects the entire TV ecosystem. We connect consumers to the content they love, enable content publishers to build and monetize large audiences, and provide advertisers unique capabilities to engage consumers.
From your first day at Roku, you'll make a valuable - and valued - contribution. We're a fast-growing public company where no one is a bystander. We offer you the opportunity to delight millions of TV streamers around the world while gaining meaningful experience across a variety of disciplines.
About the Team
The Content Platform & Intelligence team builds the pipelines, tooling, and intelligence that power Roku’s global Sports, Live, and VOD experiences. We ingest and enrich partner catalogs at scale, ensure rights-accurate availability, and feed core platform experiences like Search, Browse, and Recommendations. We obsess over metadata quality, reliability, and performance so viewers can seamlessly discover and watch what they love.
About the Role
We’re seeking a Senior Product Manager to scale how Roku onboards and operates Premium Subscription partners. You will own the product strategy and execution for onboarding VOD, Live, and Sports content at scale; keeping content rights, volumes, and performance at the center. You’ll partner closely with Subscriptions, Metadata Platform, Sports & Live product teams, Content Operations, Partnerships, and Engineering to deliver high-quality integrations that power monetisation, discovery, and delightful viewer experiences.
What You’ll Do
- Own the roadmap for onboarding new Premium Subscription partners covering VOD, Live, and Sports.
- Collaborate with metadata providers to enhance Live & Sports coverage: schedules, fixtures, teams/players, scores, artwork, league hierarchies.
- Partner with the Content Platform team to ingest, normalise, and store content intelligence that drives Search and Recommendations.
- Model regional rights, windows, blackout rules, entitlements, and service-level policies to ensure the right content shows up for the right users.
- Build internal tools and workflows that minimise manual merchandising and ops, especially for new markets and complex sports/live schedules.
We’re Excited If You Have
- 7+ years of Product Management experience in platform/backend or content systems; streaming/media experience strongly preferred.
- Proven track record building scalable ingestion/onboarding platforms, catalog systems, or developer ecosystems.
- Experience with VOD/Live/Sports pipelines, content rights and availability modelling, and internationalisation.
- Experience partnering with ML/AI teams on metadata quality, enrichment, ranking, or recommendations; comfortable with experimentation at scale.
