Job Description:

Position Summary

The Regional Sales Manager

Aesthetics and Reconstruction (Mentor) for Brazil will be responsible for driving sustainable business growth by ensuring strong commercial execution, distributor governance, market development, and customer engagement across the territory.

This role goes beyond sales follow-up. It requires business ownership, field presence, strategic thinking, and disciplined execution to ensure the right go-to-market model, the right commercial priorities, and the right level of accountability across partners and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will play a key role in accelerating growth, improving execution quality, and strengthening Mentor’s position in the Brazilian market.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development and Commercial Execution

  • Drive achievement of sales targets and business objectives in Brazil

  • Identify growth opportunities and market risks across territories, customers, and segments

  • Build and execute territory growth plans aligned with business priorities

  • Maintain strong field presence and close connection with market dynamics

Distributor Management and Governance

  • Lead commercial governance with distributors, ensuring alignment on priorities, targets, execution, and investments

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and monitor action plans

  • Build strong relationships with distributor owners, leaders, and sales teams

  • Assess distributor capability, execution quality, and market fit

Field Leadership

  • Travel regularly with distributor sales representatives

  • Visit customers independently when needed

  • Evaluate quality of execution in the field, including segmentation, frequency, value proposition, and use of promotional tools

  • Ensure the sales force is focused on the right customers and opportunities

Market and Customer Insight

  • Develop deep understanding of the competitive landscape, customer journey, physician needs, and key decision drivers

  • Identify key opinion leaders, influencers, and strategic accounts

  • Gather market feedback and translate it into business actions

Service Level and Operational Alignment

  • Monitor customer service, inventory availability, and execution quality with distributors

  • Ensure the right product depth and breadth are available to support demand

  • Identify gaps in service level and drive corrective actions

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner closely with Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Medical Education, Regulatory, Quality, and Compliance teams

  • Ensure internal stakeholders are aligned and supporting business priorities

  • Escalate key issues and drive resolution with speed and ownership

Reporting and Business Discipline

  • Provide structured reporting on performance, risks, opportunities, and action plans

  • Ensure visibility of key business drivers, including sales, active customers, distributor performance, and market trends

  • Bring proactive recommendations, not only problem statements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Strong commercial experience in healthcare, medical devices, or a related field

  • Experience in roles within medical devices in aesthetics is a plus

  • Experience in distributor management and indirect channel governance

  • Strong field execution mindset and customer-facing capability

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority

  • High level of business ownership, discipline, and accountability

  • Strong analytical and communication skills

  • Willingness to travel frequently within Brazil

  • English proficiency preferred

Preferred Profile

  • Experience in highly competitive markets

  • Experience with commercial transformation, channel redesign, or go-to-market development

  • Strong understanding of surgeon-driven markets

  • Ability to combine strategic thinking with practical execution
