A Day in the Life

We have an exciting brand new role for a Senior Distribution Supervisor to be based at our distribution centre in Truganina and help accelerate the adoption and deployment of our new Spine systems across South Australia, Western Australia, Victoria and New Zealand.

As Senior Distribution Supervisor, you will be responsible for the Spine operational sites of South Australia, Western Australia, Victoria and New Zealand. This position has been established to help accelerate the adoption and deployment of our new Spine systems of SAP Loaner, MyCase and consignment Par Tools. This position will be responsible for the operational Staff, KPI and budget of of each in scope sites.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Oversees a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties; may work out of a central warehouse.

  • Follows shipping practices and procedures, and transportation routing, schedules and requirements.

  • Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment.

  • Processes finished products, raw stock, assemblies, parts, building materials, office supplies, equipment, etc.

  • Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications; logs receipt of items on system, processes freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents; reports materials shipped and bills of lading; posts weight and shipping charges and routes merchandise to destinations.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Degree plus five years relevant experience with medical devices industry

  • Demonstrated people leadership experience

  • Customer focused: Understands and delivers excellent customer service

  • Ability to build credible relationships with all key stakeholders, including specialists and peers

  • Ability to work in a highly regulated environment and adhere to compliance and OHS

  • Valid driver’s license and own transport and willingness to travel as required for work
