Job Description
Figma is growing our team of passionate creatives and builders on a mission to make design accessible to all. Figma’s platform helps teams bring ideas to life—whether you're brainstorming, creating a prototype, translating designs into code, or iterating with AI. From idea to product, Figma empowers teams to streamline workflows, move faster, and work together in real time from anywhere in the world. If you're excited to shape the future of design and collaboration, join us!
We’re looking for a Product Demo Designer to join the Figma Brand Studio. This is a highly visual, product-forward role focused on crafting compelling demos that bring Figma’s capabilities to life. You’ll design demo experiences, flows, and product vignettes that show—not just tell—what’s possible in Figma, whether that’s for executive presentations, keynotes, or product launch films.
This role sits at the intersection of product design, storytelling, and brand. You’ll need expert design instincts, deep curiosity about our products, and a knack for finding the most interesting use-cases and “aha” moments worth sharing with our audience. You’re someone who loves to tinker and experiment—constantly exploring new creative tools, techniques, and workflows, especially emerging AI-powered tools, and thinking about how they can expand what demos look like and how quickly they can be produced. You understand the product development process, and are comfortable storytelling in a video demo format—working across design and code. You’ll play a central role in shaping how we demonstrate the capabilities of the Figma platform through polished, believable, and aspirational demos.
This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.
What you’ll do at Figma:
- Design and build high-quality demo flows and product vignettes that showcase Figma’s product capabilities in clear, compelling ways
- Explore our products deeply to uncover interesting use cases, workflows, and moments that resonate with existing and new audiences
- Craft demos for a range of formats, including executive presentations, keynotes, launch moments, and brand films
- Perform and capture demos with a strong sense of storytelling (e.g.: knowing when to zoom in, cut away, and pace a narrative for clarity and impact)
- Raise the visual quality and believability of demo assets so they feel both aspirational and grounded in real use-cases
- Share learnings, experiments, and techniques with the Brand Studio and partners to help raise the bar across the org
- Collaborate closely with brand and product designers, marketers, and leadership to align demos with broader product and brand narratives
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- A portfolio that demonstrates strong product visual design craft, interactive flows, and/or demo environments, and a nuanced understanding of trends
- An understanding of the full product development process—planning, design, prototyping, design systems, and design implementation in code
- Deep, hands-on expertise with the Figma platform and experience leveraging Figma products from idea to development
- Actively explore emerging design and AI-powered tools, forming clear opinions on how and when to use them
- Operate as both a maker and an educator, experimenting deeply and bringing others along through teaching, documentation, and example
While not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
- Experience with capturing and editing screen recording demos
