Job Title- Supply Chain Officer

Reporting to- Supply Chain Manager

Location- Savli, Vadodara

Demand and MPS (Master Production Schedule)

• 5-6 Years relevant Experience, SAP and Planning tool Knowledge, Good Analytical Skill
• Graduate+ Supply Chain course (Apics or MM course)

• Demand
  • Generate SKU level statistical forecast, Managing the monthly forecasting process based on input from divisional stakeholders (Sales,Marketing, Trade & Promotions team)
  • Revise forecasts and recommend changes monthly based on trends, new product introductions, and revised sales plans.
  • Develop and analyse demand planning related KPIs and developing appropriate improvement plans
  • Advise Sales, Marketing teams on significant variances between forecasts and actual by geography and category.
  • Lead product transition phase-in / phase-out from Demand Planning perspective and forecast accuracy optimization
  • Maintain proactive communication with production teams, including providing final monthly forecast, and alerts of material forecast    

        changes in the month in a timely manner.

• MPS
  • Develop production plan & schedule that is aligned with sales forecast, inventory targets and available capacity. Coordinate with manufacturing for execution of plans
  • Communicate directly with customers to coordinate production shipments, confirm new orders and adjust production schedules/forecasts as required
  • Manage resource requirement planning considering short and long-term business plan.
  • Monitoring and recording performance adherence to published plans.
  • Lead weekly production scheduling meetings with plants and adjust the detailed scheduling based on the production outputs and demand variation

• MRP and Import Planning

• 5-6 Years relevant Experience, SAP and Planning tool Knowledge, Supplier Management

• MRP (Material Requirement Planner)
  •    Manage planning, purchasing, MRP, indenting, ordering, on-time delivery of shipments.
  •   Monitoring & Review of all the components  to avoid any un- expected shortage to avoid any Air freight.
  •   Maintain  good relationships with suppliers for on time delivery and smooth supply.
  •   Optimizing delivery schedules and manages delivery of raw materials to balance inventory and stock outs.
  • Conduct periodical review of Supplier Performance / Capabilities & commitments, monitoring and improving supplier OTIF.
  •  Close co ordination with Cross functional team and Suppliers to fulfil unplanned customers demand.
  • Acheive Raw Materials Inventory and non-moving inventory targets without impacting supplies.

• Import Planning
  • Ensure the timely flow of goods from the point of origin till the point of consumption through various transport means like sea, air and road.
  • Manage Imports Logistic I.e. Vessel/Container Tracking, Dealing with CHA, Shipping lines
  • Co-coordinating with the different freight forwarders and custom clearing agents on regular basis to ensure the smooth and timely flow of goods.
  • Manage MTO- Made to- orders by co ordinating with Sales team, pricing team, data team and Source countries to deliver material on time.
  • Arrange essential documents such as Invoice, Packing List, COA, MSDS, and Indemnity if required.
  • Coordinate with Finance/Legal for Indemnity Bond preparation.
  • Arrange weekly review with demand team and SC leader to ensure imported orders are placed on time, seek for any constraint related to import and logistic.
