職務目的(Job Purpose)
- テスト戦略・実行管理チームのマネージャーとして、保険システム・アプリケーションの品質と信頼性確保のための包括的なテスト業務を主導・管理する。
- 生成AI技術の統合を含む革新的なテスト戦略の実装により、規制要件とビジネス目標の遵守を確保しながら、日本市場における競争優位性の維持に重要な役割を果たす。
- 複数拠点にわたる高パフォーマンスなテストチームの構築・主導と、オフショアパートナーとの効果的な連携により、卓越したテストサービスの提供を実現する。
職責(Job Responsibilities)
チームリーダーシップ・管理:
- 東京・大阪に所在する3~4名のテスト専門チームを主導・管理し、指導、メンタリング、パフォーマンス管理を提供
- 継続的改善とテスト実践における卓越性に焦点を当てた、協働的で革新的なチーム文化の醸成
- 定期的なチームミーティング、パフォーマンス評価、キャリア開発討議の実施
ベンダー・オフショア管理:
- インドベースのオフショアベンダーを管理・調整し、テスト能力とコスト効率を最適化
- オフショアパートナーシップに対する明確なコミュニケーションプロトコル、品質基準、パフォーマンス指標の確立
- 知識移転の確保と、オンショア・オフショアチーム間での一貫したテスト基準の維持
戦略企画・AI統合:
- 生成AI技術を活用した包括的なテスト戦略の開発・実装により、テスト効率と効果を向上
- AIを活用したテストツールと手法の調査、評価、導入
- テストプロセスと自動化におけるデジタル変革のロードマップ作成
財務・契約管理:
- テスト活動、ツール、ベンダー契約の予算管理
- 外部テストサービスプロバイダーとの契約交渉・監督
- 予算活用と費用最適化イニシアティブの監視・報告
オペレーショナル・エクセレンス:
- 日本の損害保険業界特有の規制要件に準拠したテストプロセスの確保
- 開発チーム、プロダクトマネージャー、ビジネス関係者と連携してテスト要件を定義
- テストフレームワーク、基準、ベストプラクティスの実装・維持

Job Purpose
- As a Test Strategy & Execution Management Manager at a leading foreign non-life insurance company in Japan, you will lead and manage comprehensive testing initiatives to ensure the quality and reliability of our insurance systems and applications.
- This role is critical to maintaining our competitive edge in the Japanese market by implementing innovative testing strategies, including the integration of generative AI technologies, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and business objectives.
- You will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing testing team across multiple locations and coordinating effectively with offshore partners to deliver exceptional testing services.
Job Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management:
- Lead and manage a team of 3-4 testing professionals located in Tokyo and Osaka, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance management
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on continuous improvement and excellence in testing practices
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and career development discussions
Vendor & Offshore Management:
- Manage and coordinate with India-based offshore vendors to optimize testing capabilities and cost-effectiveness
- Establish clear communication protocols, quality standards, and performance metrics for offshore partnerships
- Ensure knowledge transfer and maintain consistent testing standards across onshore and offshore teams
Strategic Planning & AI Integration:
- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies leveraging generative AI technologies to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness
- Research, evaluate, and deploy AI-powered testing tools and methodologies
- Create roadmaps for digital transformation in testing processes and automation
Financial & Contract Management:
- Manage budgets for testing activities, tools, and vendor contracts
- Negotiate and oversee contracts with external testing service providers
- Monitor and report on budget utilization and cost optimization initiatives
Operational Excellence:
- Ensure testing processes align with regulatory requirements specific to the Japanese insurance industry
- Collaborate with development teams, product managers, and business stakeholders to define testing requirements
- Implement and maintain testing frameworks, standards, and best practices

Required Skills and Experiences
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Specific Qualifications
- Leadership Skills: Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams and offshore partnerships
- Bilingual Communication: Fluency in both Japanese and English (written and verbal)
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of software testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and quality assurance processes
- AI & Innovation: Knowledge of generative AI applications in software testing and quality assurance
- Insurance Industry Knowledge: Understanding of insurance business processes and regulatory requirements in Japan
- Project Management: Strong skills in budget management, contract negotiation, and vendor relationship management
Total Experience
- 8+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- 5+ years of experience in team management and leadership roles
- 3+ years of experience in vendor management and offshore coordination
- Experience in the insurance or financial services industry (preferred)
- Proven track record of implementing innovative testing strategies and AI-powered solutions
