Five9 is seeking a Principal Solutions Consultant to serve as the dedicated technical partner SC for our strategic partnership with Google. This role is critical to the success of the Google Five9 partnership and will function as the technical authority for the Five9–Google joint solution.
This individual will operate at the intersection of AI, cloud infrastructure, integrations, and enterprise contact center architecture, supporting Google sellers, Google-authorized partners, and Five9 Sales and Product teams. The ideal candidate brings technical leadership and hands-on expertise, and can translate technology into value for partners and customers.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Ownership of the Five9–Google Joint Solution
- Serve as the technical subject-matter expert for product integrations and architectural touchpoints between Five9 and Google GECX.
- Own a deep understanding of how Five9 integrates with Google’s GECX AI and contact center portfolio, with particular emphasis on:
- Google Customer Engagement Suite (CES) / Google Enterprise for Customer Experience (GECX)
- Google Contact Center AI (CCAI)
- Maintain hands-on knowledge of joint capabilities, constraints, roadmap dependencies, and integration patterns across both platforms.
Google AI, Contact Center & Platform Expertise
- Act as the technical authority on how Google GECX AI services enhance the Five9 platform, including conversational AI, agent assist, analytics, transcription, automation, and routing intelligence.
- Stay current on Google’s AI and platform roadmap, proactively identifying:
- New integration opportunities
- Competitive differentiation
- Technical risks or gaps impacting GTM execution
- Help shape Five9’s point of view on Google AI adoption within enterprise contact centers.
Infrastructure, Architecture & Integrations
- Own the end-to-end technical architecture of the Five9–Google joint solution, including:
- Cloud infrastructure considerations
- Data flows and APIs
- Identity and access management
- Security, compliance, and scalability
- Provide expert guidance on integration design, deployment models, and enterprise-grade architecture for partners and customers.
- Act as a trusted advisor during solution validation, proof-of-concepts, and technical design reviews.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Responsible for understanding and being able to present on all aspects of product integrations between Five9 & Google GECX.
- Responsible for technical partner enablement for core set of Google authorized resellers that are creating GTM plans with Five9 + Google.
- Must be able to articulate technical value proposition at the “C” staff level showing business outcomes associated with technology deployments.
- Must be able to demo the integrated Joint Solution between Five9 & Google GECX.
- Must be able to work closely with Sales and Sales SC teams on key pursuits and participate in end customer meetings to help validate &a
