Job Description:

We are hiring a Senior Consultant to support data migration and ETL initiatives, ensuring accurate, controlled, and efficient movement of data across systems as part of transformation and remediation programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse source and target systems and define data migration requirements
  • Perform data mapping, transformation logic definition, and reconciliation design
  • Design and implement ETL pipelines for data ingestion and transformation
  • Execute and support data migration activities (planning, execution, validation, reconciliation)
  • Conduct data discovery and lineage analysis across systems
  • Identify and resolve data issues during migration (quality, completeness, consistency)
  • Perform root cause analysis of data discrepancies and defects
  • Define and implement data validation, controls, and reconciliation checks
  • Support cutover planning, migration rehearsals, and post-migration validation
  • Ensure alignment with data governance, quality, and risk controls

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8–14 years in ETL, Data Engineering, or Data Migration roles
  • Strong experience in data mapping, transformation, and reconciliation
  • Hands-on experience with ETL tools (Informatica, Ab Initio, Talend, SSIS, etc.)
  • Strong SQL and data analysis skills
  • Experience in large-scale data migration or transformation programs
  • Experience in regulated industries/BFSI preferred

Desired Qualifications & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Certifications in ETL tools or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
