THE OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring a Senior Data Engineer for our CARE - Unverified Partner Content team in Brazil! 

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team and help us build the next generation of AI-powered solutions by providing high-quality data to power the engine of Wellhub’s generative AI product and provide partner data to all areas of the company. You will join a team responsible for building and maintaining a comprehensive database of information on our existing and potential partners. This includes discovering and collecting data from various sources and formats (text, photo, video, audio), processing and enriching this data, and transforming it into actionable insights that enhance partner content, user recommendations, business intelligence, and the overall quality of our platform. We expect all candidates to be avid learners, team workers, and not afraid to fail fast and try again.

 

YOUR IMPACT

• You will develop and maintain data models and structures that enable efficient querying and analysis;
• You will design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to transform and process large volumes of data from various sources, while adding business context and semantics to the data;
• You will implement automated data quality checks to guarantee data quality and consistency across the whole data life cycle..

WHO YOU ARE

• You have created robust and scalable data models from business requirements
• You have worked collaboratively to collect, prepare and analyze complex business data
• You are able to engage engineering and product teams to elicit requirements and present solutions to top management
• Knowledge of data pipeline tools and technologies (e.g., Airflow, EMR, Kafka).
• You are able to collaborate with different teams to understand data needs and develop effective data pipelines
• You are comfortable understanding big data concepts to ingest, process and make data available for data scientists, business analysts and product teams
• You are comfortable maintaining data consistency across the entire data ecosystem
• You are motivated to contribute to a data-driven culture and see the impact of your work reflected company wide
