About the Role 

As a member of the Product Marketing team, you will have an integral role in both crafting and executing go-to-market strategy across Verkada’s marketing and sales efforts. 

You will join the Product Marketing team as a high-impact contributor, and will gain exposure to a wide variety of the initiatives, products, and customer insights that drive Verkada’s marketing and sales motion. As an intern on the team, you will help steer cross-functional initiatives and projects from ideation to insights, content development, and execution across the GTM lifecycle. 

What You'll Do 

  • Develop product and program positioning and competitively differentiated messaging based on user research, market insights, and product knowledge. 
  • Gather customer feedback and dig into industry trends, customer use cases, and technology challenges to understand customer needs and challenges. 
  • Work closely with Brand, Creative and Demand Generation teams to increase market presence and drive pipeline through key outbound activities (digital and live events, web and doc content, sales assets, emails, etc). 
  • Partner with Channel and Sales Enablement teams to effectively position products and programs to help drive market awareness and target outcomes. 
  • Bring new collateral to market by taking the lead on product and program launches - planning, creating/managing deliverables and timelines in order to maximize impact. 
  • Become a product subject matter expert, evangelist and cross-functional leader who unites Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to drive business results.
