The Senior Financial Analyst will be part of WBD’s DTC Segment FP&A team supporting WBD’s Streaming Segment, and will be responsible for providing accurate, timely and relevant consolidated financial reporting and planning support to WBD’s Streaming Finance Leadership and Regional Finance Leadership. This role partners closely with segment, regional, and international finance teams to support planning, forecasting, month‑end close, and management reporting processes. The position emphasizes detailed analysis, data integrity, and actionable financial insights to support decision‑making across the APAC part of the DTC Operating Segment.

Your Role Accountabilities:

• Prepare accurate and meaningful consolidated financial statements and reporting packages for month-end close and forecast, with proactive investigation and explanation of variances,  

• Partner with APAC Finance, DTC Finance, and Regional Finance teams to support budget, forecast, long‑range planning, and month‑end close activities,

• Support DTC APAC FP&A Manager in consolidating DTC APAC financial results and management reporting,

• Execute DTC APAC reporting deliverables across Budget, Forecast, and Monthly Actuals, including but not limited to:

o Data upload, reconciliation and validation in forecasting systems/tools,

o Preparation of variance, trend, and performance analysis versus plan, forecast, and prior periods,

o Identify any risks / opportunities and support tracking of gaps to target,

o Detailed review of actuals and coordination with accounting, controllership and FP&A teams to resolve data or posting issues,

• Track, analyze, and support reporting of subscriber metrics and key operational drivers impacting financial performance,

• Act as a key liaison between Segment FP&A, BU finance, Functional FP&A, Controllership and other Finance teams to support an efficient and accurate monthly close; proactively escalate and resolve issues.

• Contribute to process improvements in reporting, forecasting, and analysis to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and insight,

• Liaise with financial systems teams to address reporting and system changes,

• Deliver ad hoc financial analysis, business cases, and project support as required,

Qualifications & Experience:

● Qualified accountant or equivalent professional designation (ACA, ACMA, MBA, or similar),

● Minimum of 3-4 years of relevant FP&A or financial analysis experience, preferably within a regional, international, or matrixed organization,

● Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, forecasting, and management reporting,

● Experience with Oracle EPM Cloud, SAP (S4 Hana), or similar enterprise financial systems is an advantage,

● Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly communicate financial insights to both finance and non‑finance stakeholders,

● Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, data validation, and financial models; ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets efficiently. Experience with automation or advanced tools (e.g. Power Query, macros) is a plus,

● Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships, exercise sound judgment, and resolve issues collaboratively with a high level of professionalism and integrity,

● Proactive and detail‑oriented self‑starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work across time zones, and partner effectively across functions and geographies.
