Job Description:

Job Summary:

Responsible for SAP system continuous improvement & production scheduling in Solventum GZ plant. This role focuses on enhancing, maintaining and optimizing our SAP systems, specifically manufacturing modules (MAKE & PLAN), and fully utilizing PPDS to improve production scheduling processes.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze existing SAP manufacturing processes to identify optimization opportunities
• Design and implement SAP improvement solutions to improve production efficiency and enhance data accuracy
• Act as a bridge between IT and manufacturing, ensuring SAP capabilities align with operational requirements
• Manage SAP PPDS parameters. Maintains and optimizes SAP PPDS production scheduling parameters.
• Create and maintain production schedules. Use their knowledges of the production process and reports to create daily, weekly and Monthly production schedules
• Utilize production resources. Works with production team to coordinate production machines, manpower and shifts to make the best utilization of the production resources
• Ensure Material availabilities. Works with planners and plant warehouse team to perform production material availability check, make sure all materials are available for production
• Monitor production scheduling. Closely monitors and follows up production scheduling execution, provides quick responses to production issues and timely adjusts production schedule when there are necessary production schedule changes
• Identify opportunities to improve production scheduling processes. Regularly meets with cross-functions to lead continuous improvement for production scheduling process

Basic Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in management, bachelor’s may be preferred.
• Experience in production planning & production scheduling, experience of SAP PPDS is preferred
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Solid communication and coordination skills with cross-functions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with PPDS in SAP S4 HANA is highly desirable
• Knowledge of SAP, experience with ERP and MES integration
• Project management experience with ERP optimization, capacity improvement and productivity improvement
