Job Description

Role Responsibilities

As a Regional Account Manager, you will support the development, management, and growth of a B2B client portfolio across the North and Northeast regions of Brazil. The role combines account management (farming) and business development activities, with strong focus on commercial performance, partner productivity, and results orientation. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to expand financial solutions offerings, including international remittances, foreign exchange, and Banking as a Service (BaaS), in a dynamic and regulated environment.

  • Support the management and development of B2B partners, with a focus on retail chains and financial service providers.

  • Contribute to account farming activities by supporting partner performance monitoring and commercial follow-up.

  • Assist in commercial negotiations, contract renewals, and the execution of commercial agreements.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to transactions, revenue, activation, and partner performance.

  • Prepare basic performance reports, dashboards, and business updates.

  • Support partner visits and meetings, providing follow-up and commercial assistance under guidance.

  • Assist in the prospecting and onboarding of new B2B partners.

  • Work collaboratively with internal teams such as Marketing, Operations, Compliance, Product, Finance, and Technology.

  • Support the launch of new products, services, and commercial initiatives in the region.

  • Ensure activities comply with internal policies, governance standards, and applicable regulations

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Accounting, International Relations, or related fields.

  • Early career experience or exposure to B2B commercial activities, account management, or business development.

  • Interest or basic knowledge in financial services, such as international remittances, foreign exchange, or Banking as a Service (BaaS).

  • Familiarity with the North and Northeast regions of Brazil is a plus.

  • Basic analytical skills with ability to understand performance indicators and business data.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Willingness to travel within the North and Northeast regions when required.

  • Basic to intermediate proficiency in corporate tools, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and basic knowledge of Power BI.

  • Basic to intermediate English and Spanish.

  • Results-oriented attitude, willingness to learn, and proactive mindset.

  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with good organization and prioritization.

  • Alignment with company values and ethical standards.

Work Shift

Western Union values in-person collaboration, problem solving, and ideation whenever possible. However, due to the nature of this role, there is no specific office location where the employee is expected to report. The employee must align with their manager on other expected in-person collaboration opportunities.
