Job Description
Our office, Northwest Endodontics in Austin, Texas is seeking a skilled and licensed Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our busy specialty practice.

Your Responsibilities
You will support the clinical team by delivering exceptional care and ensuring patients feel comfortable, informed, and well cared for during their visit. You will be an essential part of the practice, supporting both clinical and administrative functions, including:
- Greeting and preparing patients for treatment
- Assisting the dentist with procedures using four-handed dentistry
- Sterilizing instruments and maintaining a clean, organized operatory
- Taking and developing dental radiographs in compliance with state regulations
- Providing post-operative care instructions and oral hygiene education
- Scheduling appointments and follow-up visits
- Managing patient records accurately and securely
- Assisting with insurance and payment processing
- Supporting front desk and administrative functions as needed
Schedule: Mon. - Thurs. 7:30am - 4:30pm
Your Background
You’re a licensed RDA with a passion for patient care and a strong understanding of both the clinical and interpersonal aspects of dental assisting. You are calm under pressure, organized, and always eager to help both patients and your team.
You also have the following:
- Active Registered Dental Assistant license in the state of Texas required
- Current radiology certification required
- CPR and BLS certification required
- At least 1-2 years of dental assisting experience; specialty experience preferred
- Graduate of an accredited Dental Assisting program (if required by state law)
- Proficiency in sterilization protocols and infection control procedures
- Strong communication skills and a patient-focused attitude
- Knowledge of dental software and basic administrative tasks
- Ability to work collaboratively with doctors and staff in a fast-paced environment
