Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

The Senior Manager, Revenue will lead technical revenue recognition for M&A activities, ensuring acquired entities’ revenue recognition policies, controls, and Q2C systems align with ASC 606 standards. Act as technical accounting owner and cross-functional advisor to enable scalable, successful, audit-ready M&A integrations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support end-to-end M&A lifecycle: pre-acquisition diligence, closing, and post-close integration.
  • Assess acquired companies’ revenue models to identify accounting, operational, and systems risks.
  • Evaluate and align acquired entities’ ASC 606 policies; document required changes.
  • Prepare and maintain technical accounting memos and formal policy documentation.
  • Provide technical guidance on performance obligations, transaction price, SSP allocation, and contract modifications.
  • Partner with Corporate Development, RevOps, Product Ops, Finance, Internal Revenue Team and Legal on timelines, resourcing, and operationalization.
  • Design/enhance revenue recognition controls and operational processes within Q2C and financial systems (including Zuora/RevPro).
  • Serve as primary liaison to external auditors for M&A; prepare documentation and respond to audit inquiries.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and standardized playbooks to scale M&A accounting work.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Academic & Professional Credentials
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Active CPA license or comparable professional designation
  • Technical Proficiency & Background
  • Minimum of 7 years focused on technical revenue accounting (ASC 606); prior experience in M&A due diligence and integration within a public SaaS environment is highly preferred.
  • Career foundation in a Big 4 accounting firm or a global public tech entity
  • Extensive expertise in Quote-to-Cash (QtC) systems, specifically Zuora RevPro and Salesforce.
  • Proven track record managing external audits, SEC reporting, internal controls, and SOX compliance.

Leadership Qualities

  • Superior communication skills with the ability to identify and translate technical accounting complexities into clear, strategic advice for executive leadership and partners including Finance and Corporate Development.
  • A proactive and collaborative leader who possesses a sharp attention to detail and thrives when managing expanding M&A activity in high-speed, evolving settings.
