What are we looking for?

  • 7–10 years in a business-facing digital, IT, or transformation role — with a track record of managing stakeholder relationships rather than technical delivery

  • Must be customer focused with demonstrated ability to form productive relationship including business leaders, Digital Technologies teams, Product Leads, and external partners

  • Strong storytelling and demand-structuring skills — able to turn a vague business problem into a clear, investable proposition

  • Deep understanding of business drivers / processes and ability to relate  regional priorities to associated technology

  • Ability to educate non-digitally savvy leadership & staff and to coach business teams on AI tools as part of daily working practice

  • Learning agility and desire to learn new technology and business

  • Excellent written and verbal skills as well as high interpersonal skills

  • Experience working across multiple levels of an organization

  • Strong problem analysis, negotiating and influencing skills

  • Proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders and translating business strategy into digital demand — this role does not own delivery but must shape it

  • Proven track record to get things done in a matrixed organization and influencing without authority

  • Demonstrated experience applying AI/GenAI tools in a business context

  • Proven "AI leverage" mindset

  • Ability to build cross-segment partnerships to reuse patterns, avoid duplication, and scale value across the

  • Previous CPG Experience a bonus

  • Experience owning adoption and change management for technology rollouts in a regional or multi-site context

  • Familiarity with business case structuring and investment justification — able to co-author with PMO support

What would be your key responsibilities?

  • Regional Alignment: Represents the voice of the regional business into the Digital Technologies team. Surfaces, structures and prioritises demand from regional stakeholders — translating business problems into clear briefs for Product Leads and Directors. Partnering closely with the UK & Europe Food & Nutrition Leadership Team

  • Disrupt with Digital: Brings to life within the  region, business value delivery through digital capabilities and working with Product Leads to ensure solutions are landed and adopted, not just delivered

  • Digital Mindset: Drives the usage of Mars Digital Technologies. Champions AI as a daily working tool within the regional business team — demonstrating use in meetings, requirements capture, and stakeholder briefings. Champion "AI as a daily habit"

  • External Perspective : Brings the "outside-In" by maintaining an external network of digital professionals to deliver value faster. Contributes to build Mars Digital branding externally.

  • Change Management & Adoption: Owns the regional adoption plan for every digital solution going live in region. Ensures business readiness, training, communications, and stakeholder engagement are in place before go-live. Signs off regional readiness at the go-live gate.

  • Capability Adoption: Drives the continuous adoption of Digital & Technologies capabilities

  • Budget Input: Provides regional context and business justification to support investment decisions. Works with PMO on business case inputs for regional demand. Does not hold budget accountability.

  • Service: Monitors quality of Digital Technologies service provided

  • Responsible AI compliance : Guide teams to use Mars-secure platforms, follow data protection expectations, and complete governance steps (e.g., impact assessments) when needed.

  • Demand Pipeline Management: Maintains a live view of regional digital demand — ensuring it is structured, prioritised, and visible to the CDIO and relevant Directors. Feeds the quarterly portfolio review with regional input.

  • Go-Live Readiness: Provides the regional business readiness signal at the go-live gate — confirming that stakeholders are briefed, training is complete, and the region is ready to adopt before any solution goes live.
